The BLUE FLAMINGO Lake Lodge, nestled in the enchanting landscape of South Burgenland, offers you 300 sunny days all year round. Our vacation home is surrounded by enticing wellness oases, culinary highlights, and a variety of opportunities for nature and leisure activities.

Experience relaxation at the private lake access, enjoy a barbecue in the secure fenced garden, play a round of golf just 10 minutes away in Stegersbach, or unwind with a glass of wine after a bike ride. The Lake Lodge fulfills all your wishes and needs: a perfect place to relax and engage in activities.

Our vacation home provides a cozy atmosphere with 45m² of living space and a 110m² garden. It is located in close proximity to Lake Rauchwart and boasts comfortable amenities. The Lake Lodge offers two bedrooms, one with a desk, a spacious living area (27m²) with a kitchen island and dining area, a sofa bed, and a flat-screen TV. Additionally, you have access to a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a partially covered terrace. Free parking right in front of the house ensures a convenient arrival. In the garden house, you'll find complimentary lounge chairs, bicycles, stand-up paddles, and a grill for your use.

Unwind in the cozy ambiance of our newly opened vacation home in the autumn of 2023. Our tranquil neighborhood, surrounded by nature, invites you to linger. Just a few steps away, you'll find a private lake access that you can reach in less than a minute on foot. This free access is also available to our guests and is only used by a few residents. Pets are welcome, but we kindly request that you keep them on a leash outside the fenced garden. The revitalized reservoir, where dogs can take their rounds and cool off in the cold water, is just a 3-minute walk away and feels like it's straight out of a fairy tale.

The picturesque hilly landscape in the immediate surroundings is perfect for relaxed walks, (e-)bike rides, jogging, and Nordic walking tours.

Unwind in the cozy ambiance. In one of the many wine taverns, you can sit together and savor the regional wine with a Brettljause (cold snack platter). Enjoy and let your soul relax with lots of love and sunshine.

Savor the diversity of natural products on the menus of the region, offering Austrian, Croatian, and Hungarian delicacies.


Visit the local wineries and wine shops for tastings, including the famous Uhudler and the distinctive Blaufränkisch from Eisenberg.

The guest room offers a queen-size double bed that can easily be separated into two single beds. The living room features a large, high-quality double sofa bed. High-speed Wi-Fi is available for free, and a Nespresso machine ensures aromatic coffee. The cozy garden with a partially covered terrace invites you to relax for hours. During the warmer months, you can use our complimentary charcoal grill.

Are you planning your vacation with a dog or child? Or perhaps a bike tour along the Paradiesroute? At the Blue Flamingo Lake Lodge, you'll find the perfect starting point for your active vacation.

Our cozy and modern house is located right on Lake Rauchwart, at the crossroads of Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia. We appreciate harmony with nature and our friendly neighbors. That's why we kindly ask that no loud noises be made in the garden after 8 PM.

The neighboring town and Stegersbach thermal spa, which has a P+R parking lot, is only a 10-minute drive away. The nearest train station is in Bad Blumau.

We look forward to welcoming you and your four-legged friends! In our fenced garden, you can enjoy the Burgenland sun. The renaturalized reservoir, which is less than a 3-minute walk away, offers a refreshing opportunity for dogs to cool off. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the bathing lake (less than 1 minute walk away). However, you can have your dog with you at the private beach access (on a leash). For equipment, food, and more, we recommend a visit to Fressnapf in the "EO Oberwart" shopping center. How to find us

From Vienna:
Drive from Vienna on the A2 towards Neunkirchen, Oberwart, and continue towards Stegersbach. Pass through the main square and past the Antonius Chapel. The B57 will take you to Rauchwart in Burgenland. Circle around Badesee Rauchwart until you reach house number 356.

From Salzburg via Graz:
Start from Salzburg on the A1/E60 heading east. At the Voralpenkreuz junction, take the exit onto the A9 towards Graz. From there, drive on the A2 towards Bad Waltersdorf and Stegersbach. Turn right at the main square towards Rauchwart in Burgenland. Circle around Badesee Rauchwart until you reach house number 356.

From Zagreb via Maribor:  
Drive from Zagreb along the E59, passing Maribor, until you reach Graz. At the Graz-West interchange, take the A2 towards Bad Waltersdorf. At the H2O Therme, turn towards Stegersbach on the L435. Turn right at the main square towards Rauchwart in Burgenland. Circle around Badesee Rauchwart until you reach house number 356.

From Budapest:  
Drive east from Budapest on the M1/E60 towards Gyór. Then, take the M85, which leads to the M86 towards Steinamanger. After crossing the border in Schachendorf, take the 56 towards Burg. Continue on the L389 to Kotezicken and further to Sankt Michael in Burgenland. Turn right onto the 57 towards Rauchwart in Burgenland. Circle around Badesee Rauchwart until you reach house number 356.
